Frequently asked questions
What is the Year-End Books Health Check?
It is a focused review of your bookkeeping for the year so far. You receive a one-page summary of what is wrong, a prioritized list of fixes, and a fixed-price quote for cleanup, with an option for ongoing monthly bookkeeping afterward.
How much does it cost?
The fee is $250. It is credited in full toward cleanup or your first month of bookkeeping if you hire Platinum Ledgers within 30 days. If the review does not surface at least three actionable items, you do not pay.
Is this tax advice or an audit?
No. It is a bookkeeping review. It is not tax advice, a tax return, an audit, or an attestation. Your tax preparer handles tax filing, and the review helps make their work faster and cleaner.
Which accounting software do you work with?
Primarily QuickBooks Online. If you use Xero or another platform, mention it on the call and we will confirm whether it is a fit.
How do I share my books securely?
The simplest way is to invite Platinum Ledgers as your accountant user in QuickBooks Online. After your call we will send the exact address to use. We do not ask for bank logins, and statements should never be sent by regular email.
What if I am months behind?
That is common, and it is a good reason to do the review. The findings summary shows how far behind the books are and what it will take to catch up, with a fixed quote so there are no surprises.
This is a bookkeeping review, not tax advice, an audit, or an attestation. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
